why we exist

NC Youth is a youth movement of the Assemblies of God in North Carolina. Our purpose is to be part of the awakening of this generation. We do this by serving youth ministries in local churches through leadership development, providing life-changing events, and spreading the gospel across the globe through Speed the Light.

Troy Davis serves as the North Carolina District Youth Director and Family Life Ministries overseeing ministry from children to college. He is an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God and is orginally from Louisiana. He did his undergrad at Southwestern Assemblies of God University and has a Bachelors of Science in Youth Ministry. Troy also has his Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership. Troy loves the outdoors and you can find him on a local greenway running a 5k or in a fishing boat. Troy also is a huge Saints fan and prays that Drew Bree’s can bring them a Super Bowl Championship.

Holly Davis, NC Youth Ministries Administrator, is a licensed minister originally from Kansas City, Missouri. She graduated from Southwestern Assemblies of God with a degree in Church Ministries and is currently working on her Master’s Degree in Ministerial Leadership from Southeastern Assemblies of God University. She and her husband, Troy (NCAG DYD), have been in youth ministry together for over twenty years. Before joining the NCAG team, Holly served as the Youth Administrator and Fine Arts Director at Calvary Greensboro for ten years.
Holly is an avid reader, loves the Kansas City Chiefs, and is passionate about sharing God’s message with young people and using Fine Arts as a pathway for discipleship. Troy and Holly live in Raleigh.
